About Me

There’s an old saying: “If You Do What You Love, You’ll Love What You Do.” I realized in high school that design is my passion so I took those words to heart and entered Buffalo State College’s rigorous four-year design program. I challenged myself to become a well-rounded designer and pursued courses in visual communications, color theory, advertising, branding and identity, logo design, illustration, multimedia and web design.

After a few semesters, my work at Buffalo State began to gain recognition. My projects were featured in several design shows and I was selected to receive Earl Wolfgruber Scholarship Award for recognition of leadership, excellence and creativity in design. After four years of many restless nights, I officially earned my BFA in Communication Design.

While attending Buffalo State, I served as a full-time intern at Fisher-Price in East Aurora, NY. Here I gained real-world experience designing packaging and marketing material that was produced and distributed to store shelves nationwide. Upon graduating, I pursued a full-time position as a designer specializing in marketing. Today I am fulfilling that goal; serving as a design specialist for the marketing department of a local supply company in Buffalo, NY.

Outside of work I have built professional relationships through freelance projects and continue to take on new opportunities. I continue to learn new skills and techniques; keeping up on the latest styles and trends while continually pushing myself to grow as a designer-developing my skills to the best they can be.
